After graduating from the ‘Unstable Media’ department at Gerrit Rietveld academy, new media artists Wouter Smit and Cem Berendsen have been working together in creating an array of mixed media artworks at a variety of occasions like ‘the New Current’ Rotterdam.

​

Wouter en Cem have now joint forces again for an all new art experience at the infamous nightclub ‘de School’ in Amsterdam. In their work they both have been greatly inspired by ongoing developments in art, science, media and technology. They explore contemporary digital landscapes in video installations, digital print and data driven light and sound sculptures. By working within different contexts, ranging from art galleries to clubs, festivals and theatres, they investigate the different possibilities of dynamic new media art, with experience design as a key factor.
